WASHINGTON (AA) - US President Donald Trump is in good health and there has been "no interval change" to his medical history, the White House physician said Wednesday.
In April, Trump completed his third periodic physical exam, said Dr. Sean Conley in a memo, which came after the president said he was taking the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine last month as a precaution against the novel coronavirus.
"Based on my history, examination and consultations, the data indicates the President remains healthy," Conley wrote. "Overall, the President continues to benefit from a multi-disciplinary care team in assessing and promoting his health and wellness as he carries out the duties of the Presidency."
On Trump's use of hydroxychloroquine, Conley said the president took a two-week course with a course of zinc and vitamin D.
"The president completed the regimen safely and without side effects. He continues to receive regular COVID-19 testing, and to date, all results have been negative," Conley wrote.
The 73-year-old weighs 244 pounds and is 6 feet 3 inches tall, which puts him in the category of obese.
