WASHINGTON (AA) - Former US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he will soon hold a rally in the state of Pennsylvania, where he was shot two weeks ago.
"I WILL BE GOING BACK TO BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA, FOR A BIG AND BEAUTIFUL RALLY, HONORING THE SOUL OF OUR BELOVED FIREFIGHTING HERO, COREY, AND THOSE BRAVE PATRIOTS INJURED TWO WEEKS AGO," Trump said on his social media platform, Truth Social.
Without providing further details on the date of the rally, he added, "Stay tuned for details."
On July 13, Thomas Matthew Crooks, a lone 20-year-old gunman, opened fire on Trump during a campaign rally in Butler County, striking him in the right ear. The gunman also took the life of Corey Comperatore and seriously injured two other people.
Crooks was killed at the scene.
Last week, Trump addressed Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he accepted party’s presidential nomination.
