BRUSSELS (AA) - U.S. President Donald Trump will meet European Council President Donald Tusk and European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker later this month, the EU confirmed on Friday.
Trump will meet Juncker and Tusk at a NATO Summit on May 25.
In an interview earlier this year, Trump described the EU as “a vehicle for Germany”, expressed support for Brexit and predicted more member states would emulate Britain’s decision to leave.
He has also courted controversy, casting doubt over the future of the alliance and the U.S. spending commitments to NATO.
