TUNIS, Tunisia (AA) – Tunisian President Kais Saied has appointed new ambassadors to several countries including Türkiye, the country’s presidency announced Tuesday.
Saied appointed the ambassadors to their new posts at a ceremony held at Carthage Palace, the presidency said in a written statement.
Ahmad Bin Saghir was appointed as the new ambassador to Türkiye and Imad Rahmuni as the ambassador to Iran, while Shukri Latif was appointed as the ambassador to Iraq, the statement said.
The new ambassadors took the oath of allegiance to the constitution in front of the president and Foreign Minister Nabil Ammar.
