ANKARA (AA) - Turk Eximbank will hold meetings with corporate investors in London as part of a "non-deal roadshow" on Wednesday and Thursday, the bank said on Tuesday.
At the roadshow, investors will learn about the bank's targets in 2019 and year-end financial figures along with Turkey's economy and developments in Turkish exports.
The meetings will be organized by Citibank, which Turk Eximbank has been closely cooperating with for a long time, said a bank statement.
The bank's ability to provide medium-long term financing from international markets will be increased thanks to the meetings, said Adnan Yildirim, the head of Turk Eximbank.
Turk Eximbank and the African Trade Insurance Agency (ATI) are set to sign a cooperation deal Tuesday during a visit to London.
The deal aims to set joint support of both sides through insurance and reinsurance in agreed projects in African countries, the statement said.
Turk Eximbank's operations in African continent will be taken further, Yildirim said.
Since Turk Eximbank was founded in 1987, it has conducted export credit, buyer credit, credit insurance, and guarantee programs aimed at developing economic and political ties between Turkey and other countries.
