HAKKARI, Turkey (AA) – Two PKK terrorists have surrendered to security forces in the eastern Turkish province of Hakkari, the governorship said on Monday.
In a written statement, the Hakkari governorship said the terrorists, who joined the group in 2014 had surrendered to security forces in the Semdinli district.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU -- has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 people.
