World Cup qualifiers game to be played with 15% of total fan-capacity in Ataturk Olympic stadium

ISTANBUL (AA) - The Turkish national football team will seek to make 3-for-3 in the European Qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup against Latvia on Tuesday.

Making a good start with wins over the Netherlands and Norway in the first two games, Turkey aim for another victory in Group G.

Tuesday's World Cup European qualifiers game will be played with 15% of the total fan capacity of 75,000. The match will kick off at 1845 GMT at Istanbul's Ataturk Olympic stadium.

The fans will be required the country's COVID-19 contact tracing HES code to enter the stadium.

Having clinched 224 victories in 588 games, Turkey lost in 224 and drew in 140 games. The team produced 782 goals and conceded 839 goals in these games.

In other games in Group G, Gibraltar will host the Netherlands as Montenegro will take on Norway.
