ANKARA (AA) - The gross foreign currency exchange reserves of Turkey's Central Bank saw their highest level in the last 20 months in the week ending Nov. 11, the Central Bank said Thursday.
According to a Central Bank statement, on Nov. 4-11, Turkey’s gross FX reserves surged by $2.46 billion to reach over $106.27 billion, the highest level in the last 20 months.
The bank's total reserves including gold also surged to $123.44 billion, the highest in eight weeks, the statement read.
Gold reserves were flat at $16.778 billion.
