ANKARA (AA) - The interest rate paid on dollar-denominated reserves that lenders hold with Turkey's Central Bank is rising by 26 basis points, the bank announced Monday.
The overnight rate thus rose today 0.49 percent to 0.75 percent.
On the first trading day of the week, the U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was flat to stand at 3.5090 at 10 a.m. (0700GMT) Monday, compared to 3.5130 at Friday’s close.
