Turkey condemns suicide bombings in Nigeria

Saturday's attack in Borno State left 21 dead, 22 injured

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey on Sunday condemned the multiple suicide bombings in Borno State in northeastern Nigeria.

Foreign Ministry in a statement said: "We are saddened by the suicide attack in Konduga of Borno State in northeastern Nigeria, claiming many lives and leaving several people injured."

At least 21 people were killed and 22 others injured in multiple suicide bombings at a local market on Saturday.

Turkey condemned the "heinous attack" and conveyed its condolences to the Nigerian government and the victims.
