ANKARA (AA) – Fans can start coming to football matches in Turkey but only in the executive boxes of stadiums, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced on Saturday.
From Oct. 17 onwards, clubs will be allowed to use executive boxes at 50% capacity, the TFF said in a statement.
All other parts of stadiums will remain closed to fans for now.
The decision will apply for all Turkish Super Lig, Ziraat Turkish Cup, and lower division matches.
The 2020-2021 season has been played behind closed doors so far as part of coronavirus safety measures in Turkey.
