ANKARA (AA) - The Turkish foreign ministry on Monday issued a travel warning for its citizens visiting Kenya.
In a statement the ministry asked Turkish citizens to avoid traveling to some parts of Kenya, where curfew had been imposed before elections on Tuesday.
Kenya’s interior ministry had announced that certain parts of the country were under threat from al-Shahab, an affiliate of the Al-Qaeda terrorist group.
The curfew will stay in place from dusk to dawn, every day till October 9.
Kenyans are set to go to the polls on August 8 to vote in a new government.
