ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's unadjusted industrial production index for September is expected to rise by 8.7%, according to an Anadolu Agency survey on Wednesday.
A group of 11 economists surveyed by Anadolu Agency projected an increase compared to the same month of 2019.
The estimates for the month ranged between 4.3% and 12.5%.
Meanwhile, the experts estimated that the calendar-adjusted industrial production index for the month would increase by 7.3% on an annual basis.
In August 2020, the unadjusted and adjusted industrial production indices were up 16% and 10.4%, respectively, year-on-year.
The term "calendar-adjusted" is used to refer to data where calendar and holiday-originated effects are removed.
The Turkish Statistical Institute is due to release official figures on Friday.
