ANKARA (AA) - A support budget of 5.6 billion liras ($1.04 billion) will be allocated for manufacturing, entrepreneurship and research in 2019, according to Turkey’s industry and technology minister on Wednesday.
Mustafa Varank said in a recent statement that the ministry will back manufacturing, entrepreneurship and research with "every means available".
The ministry, which was restructured following the country’s transition to the presidential system, will work with the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Turkey (KOSGEB), as well as other development agencies and regional development administrations to provide support.
