ANKARA (AA) – The Turkish women’s basketball team will take on Slovenia on Thursday in their first match of the 2021 FIBA European Women Basketball Championship.
Turkey will meet Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Belgium in the Group C.
All the matches in the Group C will be played in Strasbourg, France.
Thursday's match will start at Rhenus Sport at 1600GMT.
The tournament will be hosted by Spain and France.

The Turkish women's basketball team is participating in the FIBA European Women's Basketball Championship for the ninth time in a row.
Turkey finished the championship eighth when it was first held in 2005
They came ninth in the 2007 and 2009 championships.
Turkey ranked second in 2011, third in 2013, and fifth in 2015 and 2017.
They failed to qualify for the latest championship in 2019.
The Turkish women's basketball team played 428 official matches in its history.
They won 251 matches and suffered 177 defeats.
