ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's annual inflation rate is forecasted to drop to 10.19 percent in March, said a panel of economists on Friday.
The 18 economists polled by Anadolu Agency predicted a drop from February's yearly rate of 10.26 percent.
The consumer price index survey ranged between 0.70 percent at its lowest and 1.25 percent at its highest -- an average 0.95 percent monthly increase.
Year-end inflation is predicted at 9.62 percent, which is an average taken from estimates ranging between 11.50 percent and 8.90 percent.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) is due to release the official inflation figures next week, on April 3.
In February, consumer prices in Turkey rose 10.26 percent year-on-year, a slight drop of 0.09 percentage points compared to January, according to TurkStat.
