ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index was down by 0.66% to 1,089.60 points at the close on Tuesday.
After starting the day at 1,101.56 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 7.21 points from Monday's close of 1,096.81 points.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,920 by market close, down from $1,928.50 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $39.60 per barrel as of 6.20 p.m. local time (1520GMT) on Tuesday.
