ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index slightly rose by 77.58 points, to start Wednesday at 104,049.94 points.
On Tuesday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index close the day at 103,972.36 points with a daily trading volume of 9.8 billion Turkish liras ($1.7 billion).
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate stood stable at 5.7740 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Wednesday, compared to 5.7740 at Tuesday's close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate marginally went down to 6.3610, versus 6.3650, and one British pound traded for 7.4330 Turkish liras, while it was 7.4320 at the previous close.
One barrel of Brent crude oil was sold for around $61.67 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT) on Wednesday.
