ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index increased by 0.09% to close Wednesday at 1,211.51 points.
After starting the day at 1,220.88 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 1.10 points over Tuesday's close of 1,210.41 points.
During the day, the index hovered between 1,209.31 and 1,222.95 points.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 889 billion Turkish liras ($112 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 21.3 billion Turkish liras ($2.7 billion).
