ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index rose by 0.32%, or 333.84 points, to start Tuesday at 103,452.32 points.
On Monday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index fell 34.73 points to close the day at 103,118.48 points with a daily trading volume of 7.7 billion Turkish liras ($1.3 billion).
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate slightly fell to 5.7730 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Tuesday, compared to 5.7750 at Monday's close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate also marginally went down to 6.3740, versus 6.3780, and one British pound traded for 7.4440 Turkish liras, while it was 7.4510 at the previous close.
One barrel of Brent crude oil was sold for around $62.47 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT) on Tuesday.
