ANKARA (AA) - Turkish swimmer Emre Sakci scored a double win in Tuesday's International Swimming League (ISL) in Hungary.
Sakci, 22, was the winner in both the men's 100-meter breaststroke and 50-meter breaststroke skins in the fourth leg of the league in Budapest.
The wins followed Sakci’s victory in Monday's 50-meter breaststroke.
On Tuesday, Sakci won the 100-meter breaststroke with 57.17 seconds, beating his German opponent Marco Koch by 0.09 seconds.
Koch came second with 57.26 seconds.
Sakci also ended the 50-meter breaststroke skins in the top spot, besting the US’ Caeleb Dressel.
The Turkish athlete finished the race in 25.73 seconds, while Dressel finished in 26.20 seconds, or 0.47 seconds behind.
Founded in 2019, the ISL is a professional swimming league held annually.
