ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Paralympic athlete Esra Bayrak has won a silver medal in the women's long jump Wednesday at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Dubai.
Bayrak, who suffers from intellectual disability, jumped 5.39 meters to claim the silver medal, the Turkish Special Athletes Sports Federation said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Turkish athletes Mihriban Korkmaz won a gold medal, and Eda Yildirim captured a silver medal in the women's shot put.
Also, in the men's long jump T46/47, Turkey's Gokhan Akin jumped 5.78 meters to win the bronze medal on Thursday.
