ISTANBUL (AA) - The Turkish Basketball Federation on Monday parted ways with Orhun Ene, head coach of the national team.
In a statement, the federation thanked Ene for his contributions and wished him the best for the future.
Ene, who returned as a manager for a second time during the FIBA EuroBasket 2022 Qualifiers, replaced Ufuk Sarica in November 2020.
The 55-year-old previously supervised Turkish clubs Banvit, Darussafaka, and TOFAS.
Ene had first managed the Turkish national team from 2011 to 2013 after Montenegrin manager Bogdan Tanjevic's departure.
