ANKARA (AA) - Turkish national basketballer Shane Larkin underwent a hand surgery, Anadolu Efes announced on Tuesday.
According to club doctor Ugur Dilicik the operation was successful.
Larkin could not play the EuroBasket 2022 game against France due to a hand injury. After a medical examination, it was decided to go for the operation for the injury believed to be caused during Türkiye's first tournament game against Montenegro.
Both the Turkish Basketball Federation and Anadolu Efes wished Larkin a speedy recovery. The 29-year-old joined Anadolu Efes from NBA team Boston Celtics in 2018.
