Turkish, Belarusian presidents speak over phone

Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Alexander Lukashenko discuss regional issues and bilateral relations

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday spoke on the phone with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, according to Turkey's Communication Directorate.

In a statement, the directorate said Erdogan and Lukashenko discussed regional issues.

In the conversation, the duo also evaluated ways to improve relations between Turkey and Belarus, the statement added.
