ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 7,874.18 points, up slightly by 0.08% or 6.16 points from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index closed Monday at 7,868.02 points, up 2.1%, with a daily trading volume of 82 billion liras ($2.88 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 28.4730 as of 10.15 a.m. local time (0715GMT), the euro/lira rate stood at 30.4580, while a British pound traded for 35.0740 liras.
Brent crude oil was selling for around $84.20 per barrel, while the price of an ounce of gold was $1,976.10.
