ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkish builder Karmod has said it will build modular prefabricated mining camp buildings in Chile as a part of its sixth project in the region.
Ziya Yanik, export manager at Karmod, said in a statement that their buildings provide many advantages, such as fast installation and easy usage.
Karmod-made mining camp buildings are modular, as they can be assembled and disassembled, enabling their ease of movement.
Additionally, the buildings provide high insulation, which allow them to be used in various climatic conditions.
Yanik said that they started the production of four separate prefabricated buildings.
The buildings will be shipped to Chile by sea after they are produced, he added.
“Modular mining camp buildings will be used by the technical team that will work in gold extraction at a mine site near the capital city of Chile, Santiago,” he said.
