The Turkish Central Bank's official reserves dropped to $133.9 billion as of the end of January, according to official data released Thursday.
The reserve assets decreased 5% from the previous month, the bank's data showed.
Foreign currency reserves – in convertible foreign currencies – plunged 8.4% month-on-month to $78 billion in January.
The bank's gold reserves – including gold deposits and, if appropriate, gold-swapped – came in at $48.4 billion, ending up 0.4% in the same period.
