ISTANBUL (AA) - The Turkish central government's debt stock was at 8.1 trillion Turkish liras ($238.7 billion) as of July, the Treasury and Finance Ministry said on Tuesday.
Around half of the stock was in domestic debt and other half was in foreign debt, official figures showed.
Some 39.5% of the overall stock was in Turkish liras and rest was in foreign currencies.
From July 2023, overall debt stock rose by 39.6%.
The Treasury's receivables also totaled 29.2 billion liras ($861.5 million) as of July.
