Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas on Friday said they appointed Riza Calimbay as the new head coach.
"Welcome home, Rıza Çalımbay! We're thrilled to announce the return of Rıza Çalımbay! as head coach," the club said in a brief statement on X.
Calimbay, 60, replaces interim manager Burak Yilmaz, who left the Istanbul club earlier in the day.
The move marks Calimbay's second term with the Black Eagles, as he helmed the club for nine months in 2005.
