ISTANBUL (AA) - Defender Alpaslan Ozturk has joined Turkey's Galatasaray football club, the Lions announced on Friday.
The 16.5 million Turkish liras (almost $2 million) deal has been finalized for three years.
The 27-year-old has made appearances for Belgium's Standard Liege and several Turkish sides including Kasimpasa, Eskisehirspor, Elazigspor, and Goztepe.
Separately, Aytac Kara also moved to the Istanbul side from Kasimpasa. Galatasaray will give a total of $2.15 million to Kara for three seasons.
The 28-year-old midfielder has also played for Bursaspor, Trabzonspor, Yeni Malatyaspor, and Eskisehirspor.
