Turkish deputy foreign minister holds talks in Belarus

'Views were exchanged to further develop political, economic, trade relations between our countries,' says Turkish Foreign Ministry

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Yasin Ekrem Serim met with Yury Ambrazevich, Belarusian deputy foreign minister in charge of relations with Türkiye, as part of his visit to Belarus.

"During the meeting, views were exchanged to further develop political, economic and trade relations between our countries as well as cooperation in the fields of transportation and education," the Turkish Foreign Ministry said Wednesday on X.

Türkiye-Belarus Consular Consultations were also held in Minsk between the delegations led by the Turkish deputy foreign minister and Belarusian Deputy Minister Evgeny Shestakov in charge of consular affairs.

“During the consultations, all issues on the agenda of the consular relations of two countries, in particular residence, citizenship and judicial issues that closely concern our citizens, were discussed in detail and concrete steps were agreed upon,” the ministry said.

In addition, a protocol was signed by deputy ministers on the land plots to be mutually allocated for their embassies.
