ANKARA (AA) – An online portal of the Turkish government -- through which citizens can track petitions they file in courts -- is set to compete for an award at an international forum.
E-adalet will enter the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2020 where 175 other countries are participating, the Justice Ministry said Friday.

Votes can be cast at https://www.itu.int/net4/wsis/stocktaking/Prizes/2020/Vote.

As part of digitalizing the government systems, the application was introduced for citizens on Oct. 9, 2019.

WSIS is a platform which encourages governments to enhance their technology and communication infrastructure.

The Justice Ministry won the first prize at the competition in 2016.
