ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish firm DizaynVip exports its custom design vehicles to 35 countries from Cambodia to the U.S., chairman of the company said.
"Our export prices range between $300 and $1,100 per kilogram, the prices of our custom vans are from $150,000 to $500,000," Erbakan Malkoc told Anadolu Agency.
He noted that over 150,000 people are employed in the sector in Turkey, which has become the main base for the field.
"Several consumer products including vehicles are customized in the world, so we design the vehicles upon the people's requests," Malkoc underlined.
He stressed that the firm manufactures hand-made vehicles with 140 personnel especially for businesspeople, politicians, artists and athletes.
The firm known in 163 countries has offices in China, Switzerland, Dubai and the U.S., he added.
Malkoc said the firm was awarded the best use of technology in automobile design by the IMA IMPACT organization in the U.S. in 2014.
In 2018, DizaynVip exported nearly 100 van-type vehicles and it aims to raise the figure four times as much this year, Malkoc said, adding that the company designs its vehicles using local resources.
The company uses high technology and quality material in luxury vehicle designs.
Beside vans, DizaynVip also designs busses, minibuses, cars, armored vehicles, aircrafts, and vessels.
