Turkish Cabin Interior reaches agreement for 10 planes with AZAL

ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Cabin Interior Inc. (TCI) -- a joint venture of Turkish Airlines, Turkish Technic and Turkish Aerospace Industries -- has agreed a new deal with Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) about its new 10 Boeing 737-Max 8 planes, it was announced on Thursday.

The deal included the design and manufacture of the planes' onboard galleys.

Flag carrier Turkish Airlines said deliveries of the galleys to AZAL will start in November 2018.

In 2017, TCI also made deals with SpiceJet and Jet Airways for 150 and 79 planes, respectively.

Established in 2011 in partnership with Turkish Airlines and Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc., TCI is known as the first Turkish company to design and manufacture aircraft cabin interior spaces.
