ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Super Lig side Yeni Malatyaspor confirmed Thursday that six staff members in the club tested positive for COVID-19.
"Following the virus tests, five football players and one of our staff had positive cases. The follow-up and treatment processes of the members, whose test results were positive, began as per the relevant procedures," club spokesman Hakki Celikel told Anadolu Agency.
On May 22, the club also announced two people, including a football player, tested positive for coronavirus.
As of Wednesday, the death toll from the virus rose to 4,431 as the country reported 34 new fatalities in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry data.
