ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Monday heads to Montenegro to attend a two-day summit, according to the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
On behalf of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Fidan will attend the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) leaders' summit that will be held in the capital Podgorica on June 26-27.
Fidan will address the participants under the summit and hold some bilateral meetings, the ministry said in a statement.
The SEECP brings together Türkiye, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Greece, Croatia, Moldova, and Montenegro.
It is a symbol of the common will of the countries of the region to improve cooperation among themselves and to bring lasting stability in South East Europe.
