NEW YORK (AA) - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock in New York on Sunday and discussed a range of issues, including Türkiye's European Union membership process.
The meeting took place at the Turkish House on the margins of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
"During the meeting, Türkiye's EU membership process, especially the updating of the Customs Union and the visa liberalization process, the latest developments on the Cyprus issue, the Black Sea Grain Initiative, Sweden's NATO membership process and climate change issues were discussed," said the Turkish Foreign Ministry on X, formerly known as Twitter.
