ANKARA (AA) – The Turkish foreign minister met his Malaysian counterpart on Saturday, according to the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
Hakan Fidan embarked on a two-day visit to Malaysia on Saturday, said the ministry, adding that he would hold a bilateral meeting with his Malaysian counterpart Zambry Abdul Kadir.
"During the visit, the two sides will discuss various aspects of bilateral relations, which are at the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership level and exchange views on current regional and international issues," the statement said,
Upon his arrival, Fidan was received by Abdul Kadir and also met with Penang state Prime Minister Chow Kon Yeow, the ministry added.
