Turkish foreign minister meets his Malaysian counterpart in Baghdad

‘Discussions were held on potential collaborative actions concerning our bilateral relations, Islamophobia," says Turkish Foreign Ministry

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish foreign minister Hakan Fidan met his Malaysian counterpart Zambry Abdul Kadir on Wednesday in Baghdad as part of his visit to Iraq.

"During the meeting, discussions were held on potential collaborative actions concerning our bilateral relations and Islamophobia," Turkish Foreign Ministry wrote on X.

Fidan, who is in Iraq on a three-day visit, also met his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and President Abdul Latif Rashid.
