Turkish foreign minister starting 2-day visit to UAE to discuss deepening bilateral cooperation

During visit, Hakan Fidan to meet with his counterpart, engage in various high-level discussions

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Monday started a two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates, an official statement said.

Fidan will meet with his counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and engage in various high-level discussions, said a Foreign Ministry statement.

"The year 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Türkiye and the UAE," it added.

Discussions will focus on further deepening bilateral cooperation in all fields, the statement said, adding that there will be exchanges of views on regional and international developments, especially the current situation in Palestine.
