Turkish, Greek export credit banks sign cooperation deal

Turk Eximbank, Export Credit Greece to provide joint financing, insurance, guarantee and reinsurance for projects in other countries

ANKRA (AA) – The export credit banks of Türkiye and Greece on Thursday signed a deal on general cooperation.

The memorandum of understanding was signed between Turk Eximbank and the Export Credit Greece during the 5th meeting of the Türkiye-Greece High-Level Cooperation Council co-chaired by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Athens.

Turk Eximbank and the Export Credit Greece will provide joint financing, insurance, guarantee and reinsurance for the transactions to be undertaken by companies from Türkiye and Greece in other countries.

The two export credit banks will share knowledge and experience mutually, thanks to the agreement.
