ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his Libyan counterpart Najla al-Mangoush met Wednesday in the Turkish capital of Ankara for talks.
No further information was shared about the closed-door meeting.
Al-Mangoush is paying a one-day visit to Türkiye to meet Fidan to discuss all aspects of bilateral relations and current regional and global developments, according to a Turkish Foreign Ministry statement on Tuesday.
Türkiye has deep-rooted relations with the Libyan people. Due to its historical and cultural ties, Türkiye attaches the utmost importance to the security and welfare of the Libyan people.
Libya has been torn by civil war and instability since the ouster of longtime ruler Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
