ANKARA (AA) – The Turkish lira hit a new low against the U.S. dollar on Monday morning after labor data from the world’s largest economy on Friday showed growth was poised to accelerate.
Turkey’s currency fell to a historic low of 3.6900 against the dollar in early trading on Monday after starting the day at 3.6510.
It rose to 3.6820 by mid-morning in Turkey.
