ISTANBUL (AA) - All preliminary indicators show that the Turkish manufacturing industry made a "strong start" in 2021, the country's industry and technology minister said Wednesday.
"We will continue to keep our country's agenda on investment, employment, production, and exports," Mustafa Varank said on Twitter.
He added that Turkey would make itself a winner of the post-pandemic era with its production infrastructure.
The official also shared an infographic showing that the Purchasing Managers Index, electricity usage in industrial zones and exports increased in January.
The Purchasing Managers Index is a critical gauge of manufacturing sector health and indicates growth or contraction compared to the previous month.
