ISTANBUL (AA) - Hakan Calhanoglu moved to Inter Milan from city rivals AC Milan, the Nerazzurri announced Tuesday.
"FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that Hakan Çalhanoglu has joined the Nerazzurri. The 27-year-old midfielder has signed a deal with the Club lasting until 30 June 2024. #WelcomeHakan," Inter Milan said in a statement.
AC Milan named Calhanoglu their MVP of the 2019-2020 season in September 2019.
Calhanoglu had 32 goals and 48 assists in 172 games for AC Milan from 2017 to 2021.
He netted 13 goals in 59 appearances for Turkey’s national team.
The Turkish midfielder previously played for German clubs, including Karlsruher SC, Hamburger SV, and Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
