ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkish athletes collected four medals in the seventh Fazza Para Archery World Ranking Tournament, the Turkish Sports Federation for the Physically Disabled said Thursday.
Bahattin Hekimoglu won a gold medal after defeating fellow Turk Yigit Caner Aydin 134-131 in the men's W1 category in Dubai.
So Aydin became the silver medalist.
Nihat Turkmenoglu claimed bronze with a 132-113 victory against Romanian Bogdan Raicu.
And Merve Nur Eroglu and Sadik Savas, who competed as Team Turkey, settled for a silver medal after losing 5-4 to Team India in the final.
The tournament will end on Feb. 27.
