ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday will receive Libya’s Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh in Istanbul, according to Turkey's Communications Directorate.
Erdogan will meet with Dbeibeh at the Vahdettin Palace in Istanbul.
Later, the duo will also attend a meeting of the countries' delegations, according to a statement by the directorate.
Turkey and Libya have seen closer ties in recent years, especially after the signing of security and maritime boundary pacts in November 2019, and Turkey's aid to help the legitimate Libyan government push back a putschist revolt.
