ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received New Zealand's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Winston Peters.
The meeting took place at the Vahdettin Pavilion in Istanbul and was also attended by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, and Erdogan's chief adviser Akif Cagatay Kilic.
Last week, Peters said that New Zealand "greatly values Turkish insights on regional issues," and that the visit will allow to share information and perspectives on the situation in the Middle East, including Gaza, and Russia’s war on Ukraine.
