Turkish president receives Trump’s senior advisor

Closed-door meeting last for some 2 hours

ANKARA (AA) – President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday met with U.S. President Donald Trump’s senior advisor.
According to presidential sources, the Turkish president discussed economic relations with Jared Kushner, who is also the son-in-law of Trump, for some two hours in a meeting that was closed to the media.
Turkey's Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak, who also attended the meeting, said in a tweet that both sides discussed ways to further enhance their financial collaboration.
Kushner is part of a delegation currently on a seven-day tour of the Middle East that includes Special Representative for International Negotiations Jason Greenblatt and Special Representative for Iran Brian Hook.
